Sophia Bernardi is a Senior Associate in the Employment Law team.

She advises and assists a wide range of employment law issues on behalf of companies/groups of companies in a variety of sectors.

Sophia assists employers with individual relationship issues, whether they arise during the performance or termination of the contractual relationship.

Her experience enables her to provide legal and operational insight into risk management.

In addition to individual issues, she advises employers on compliance with their legal obligations towards employees, particularly in relation to harassment and violence in the workplace, personal data, collective relations and safety at work.

Having developed expertise in the issues specific to them, she also assists individual employers, particularly with regard to applicable law, working hours and dismissal.

In litigation, Sophia has developed significant experience, from the Labour Court to the Court of Revision, on a wide range of issues, including dismissal challenges, working conditions, overtime, harassment, redundancy, application of collective agreements, and professional elections/trade union representation.

She also brings her procedural expertise to bear on the cases she handles.

Before joining the firm in 2018, Sophia worked for two years in another law firm.
