CMS has advised Oaktree Capital Management on its investment in Kadans, a property investor and developer. With the help of Oaktree's substantial network, experience and financial resources parties expect to substantially grow the Kadans science-park portfolio and roll it out across Europe. Kadans senior management has retained an equity stake in Kadans.
Kadans has been focusing increasingly on knowledge intensive businesses and institutions since 2010. As a preferred supplier to the sector, it aims to create a pan-European platform providing added value to its tenants in the form of shared services, consultancy, network support and accelerator programs.
