Perupetro announces International Bidding Round to grant License Contract for the Exploration and Exploitation of Block 201
On September 10th 2019, PERUPETRO S.A. (hereinafter, “Perupetro”) announced the call for the International Bidding Round to grant License Contract for the Exploration and Exploitation of Block 201, located in the Ucayali región.
Mr. Seferino Yesquén, president of Perupetro, noted that the Bidding Round had the acquiescence of the regional government of Ucayali, who attended the event and welcomed the future investment.
Below, we highlight the main features of the Bidding Round announced by Perupetro:
- The terms and forms of the Bidding Round can be download freeof charge through the following link.
- The Oil Companies or Consortiums shall be those that express an interest in participating in the Bidding Round, according to the minimum indicators detailed in Appendix N°4 of the Terms.
- According to the General Provisions for Contracting, the evaluation process will be carried out taking into consideration i) the Minimum Work Program, detailed in Appendix N° 3 of the Terms and ii) the components of the Economic Bid
- The Model of the License Contract for the Exploration and Exploitation of Block 201 established that the Area Releases during the exploration phase will be optional.
