It was published, January 6th 2025, the Ministerial Order no. 6-B/2025/1 that updates the amount of the Social Support Index (IAS) for the year 2025.
The amount, which was until the end of 2024 EUR 509,26 (five hundred nine euros and twenty-six cents), will, with effects from January 1, 2025, be EUR 522,50 (five hundred twenty-two euros and fifty cents), which corresponds to an increase of 2,6%.
This increase will be reflected, namely, in the payment of social benefits such as unemployment allowance, as well as in the calculation of monthly contributions of non-remunerated and non-exempt statutory bodies or of domestic service under the conventional regime, among other situations.
