COVID-19 inevitably leads to a situation in which companies and authorities more frequently process personal health data within the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR, which according to the GDPR enjoy increased protection and may only be processed under certain strict conditions.
Although processing health data is only permitted to a limited extent under the GDPR, health data can of course also be processed lawfully to protect our own employees.
