Lisa Oberlechner specialises in international and domestic M&A transactions as well as all aspects of corporate law and general contracts. She mainly focuses on the finance and energy sectors. She also has extensive experience in the purchase and sale of NPL portfolios. Her clients include both banks and funds, which she assists in structuring and negotiating NPL transactions in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe.
In addition, Oberlechner advises banks, financial institutions and investment companies on regulatory issues and regularly assists insurance companies in signing guarantee and liability insurance policies.
Prior to joining CMS as an associate in Vienna in 2014, Oberlechner worked for two years in several law firms in New York and a renowned business law firm in Vienna. She was admitted to the New York bar in 2011 and to the Austrian bar in 2015.
