CMS Sofia assisted with the legal due diligence of a standalone BESS with installed capacity of 80 MW/useable capacity 320 MWh and Step-up substation (BESS) project in Bulgaria, which was successfully financed with approximately EUR 45m by UniCredit. The borrower, Vel Vision OOD, is part of El Izgrazhdale Bulgaria group.
The financing will support the construction and operation of the project in the town of Lukovit, in the Lovetch region of Bulgaria.
The CMS team was led by Partner Borislava Piperkova, and included Vaska Solakova, Lyuba Bozova-Peshovska, Stoyana Petrova and Niya Ivanova (Energy, Projects and Construction).
