Álex is an Associate Director of the Firm in the areas of Environmental Law & Sustainability and Energy & Climate Change, under the Mining sector. He is a lawyer from the Universidad de los Andes and a specialist in environmental law from the Universidad del Rosario. He has an LLM in energy and climate law from the University of Groningen in The Netherlands and a master's degree in sustainability and CSR from the OBS Business School and the Universitat de Barcelona. He has also been a lecturer at the Law School of the Universidad de los Andes.
Álex has more than 10 years of experience in his practice areas, and since he joined the Firm in May 2023, he has been advising national and international clients on corporate environmental law, environmental sanction processes, due diligence, mining matters, and ESG strategies for the different productive sectors.
