María Alejandra is an Associate for the Banking & Finance, Public Procurement, Compliance and Insolvency, Restructuring & Liquidation practices in the Firm. She is a lawyer with a cum laude degree from Universidad de los Andes and holds a postgraduate degree (specialization) in Criminal Law from Universidad Sergio Arboleda.
She has experience in transitional justice and criminal defenses. Additionally, María Alejandra worked during her undergraduate degree as teacher’s assistant in Criminal Law course. Since she joined the team, María Alejandra has supported the team in providing advice to national and foreign clients in local and cross-border corporate finance transactions.
