She is a lawyer and political scientist currently pursuing a specialization in Public Law at Universidad Externado de Colombia.
Maria Clara has experience providing legal advice to companies on matters related to public and private contracting, including negotiations, drafting and structuring legal documents, and handling contractual claims, among others. She also has experience representing private sector companies before both the ordinary and administrative jurisdictions.
Currently, Maria Clara advises various national and international clients in the energy sector—including the hydrocarbons, electric power, and gas sub-sectors—supporting the Team in the structuring phase of electric power generation projects and providing comprehensive legal assistance related to the daily operations of these companies.
