Martín is Mid-Level Associate in the Banking & Finance and Dispute Resolution practices. He is a bilingual lawyer (Spanish-English) from Universidad Externado de Colombia and a Specialist in Financial Legislation from Universidad de los Andes, with eight years of professional experience.

His practice spans regulatory advisory across the financial, securities and insurance markets, as well as corporate law, the public securities market, fintech, payment systems and open data, together with legal advisory and representation before courts and tribunals.

He has advised public and private entities on regulatory development, corporate advisory, financial litigation, and the drafting and negotiation of complex contracts, including commercial trust (fiducia mercantil) agreements and the structuring of public trusts (fiducia pública). He has experience in dispute resolution and in coordinating with Colombian financial-sector regulators, such as the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia (Colombian Financial Superintendency).
