Cologne – VOSS Automotive GmbH, part of the global VOSS Group, has acquired Henzel Automotive GmbH, an automotive supplier based in Gründau (Hesse) with around 300 employees. The associated business premises were included in the deal. VOSS Automotive specialises in line and connection technology for automotive vehicle systems. It views the acquisition as a key strategic investment in expanding its product portfolio. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
A CMS team headed by lead partner Dr Malte Bruhns advised VOSS Automotive GmbH on all legal aspects of the transaction. This is the second transaction the Wipperfürth-based firm has successfully carried out with the assistance of CMS.
The VOSS Group, which is headquartered in Wipperfürth (North Rhine-Westphalia), is a supplier specialising in line and connection technology for automotive vehicle systems. The business has a history dating back over ninety years and comprises several German companies as well as foreign entities with production, service and sales locations around the world. Employing some 6,000 people, the VOSS Group is a leading company for automotive products and fluid systems.
