Stuttgart – Biovegan GmbH, a company based in Bonefeld (Rhineland-Palatinate) that specialises in organic vegan products, has acquired all the shares in Hamburg-based PURYA GmbH, a manufacturer of organic vegan sport nutrition. The acquisition of PURYA GmbH supports Biovegan GmbH’s growth strategy while providing it with access to a new product group. Last year, 100% of the shares in Biovegan GmbH were acquired by Finexx, a private equity firm with offices in Stuttgart. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

The advice covered in particular the preparation and negotiation of the contract documentation, preparations for signing and closing, and project management. Finexx is a longstanding client and regularly relies on the expertise of the proven Corporate/M&A and Finance team at CMS. Finexx was also advised by CMS last year on all legal aspects of its acquisition of Biovegan GmbH.
