CMS advises Computacenter on acquisition of Interseroh logistics subsidiary ITL logistics

Munich – IT service provider Computacenter has acquired ITL logistics GmbH from environmental services provider Interseroh in Germany. The company will use the acquisition to expand its IT logistics services and to deliver and collect products across Europe. Further investment in ITL logistics is planned to strengthen the company’s business in Europe. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

A CMS team headed by partner Richard Mitterhuber and lead counsel Dr Jessica Mohaupt-Schneider advised Computacenter on all legal aspects of the transaction. This included advising on matters relating to the carve-out of ITL logistics GmbH from the corporate structures of the Interseroh Group, including tax aspects.

ITL logistics GmbH, based in Schwaig (Bavaria), is the IT logistics business of German environmental services provider Interseroh. According to the company’s own figures, it employs 80 people at three locations in Germany.

Headquartered in Hatfield (UK), Computacenter plc is a leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services and solutions to large corporate and public sector organisations. The company is quoted on the London FTSE 250 index. Employing over 16,000 people worldwide, Computacenter generated sales of around EUR 5 billion in 2020.
