Medike International Corp., Canada has acquired all shares in Landes Holding GmbH, a VR Equitypartner portfolio company, thus further expanding its global presence. Details of the purchase price were not disclosed.
An international CMS team led by Dr Jörg Lips provided Medike with advice on all legal aspects. The advice included in particular due diligence and negotiating the transaction documentation. A team led by banking and finance partner Axel Dippmann also provided advice on aspects of redemption of the financing banks in the jurisdictions of Germany, Canada and Hong Kong.
Landes Group is a global provider of labels for the textiles and jeans industry and of belts and small leather items for the retail trade and the textiles sector. The company has its headquarters in Isny im Allgäu, Württemberg.
