Munich – Croatian company Optimapharm d.o.o. has acquired SSS International Clinical Research GmbH. Optimapharm is an international contract research organisation (CRO) which primarily conducts clinical studies for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical technology firms. Germering-based SSS GmbH has almost thirty years of expertise and experience in organising and advising on clinical studies across all phases. This transaction is part of Optimapharm’s ongoing strategy of expansion and acquisitions throughout Europe. The details of the deal were not disclosed.
A CMS team headed by Dr Tilman Weichert and Dr Thomas Mühl advised Optimapharm on all legal aspects of the acquisition.
