CMS advises PINOVA on the sale of ECOROLL to Indutrade

Frankfurt/Main – Funds advised by PINOVA Capital GmbH have sold their majority stake in ECOROLL Holding GmbH to the Swedish company Indutrade AB. Indutrade is an OMX-listed industrial holding company with its registered office in Stockholm, Sweden, which acquires stakes in companies with the aim of long-term development.

A CMS team led by partner Dr Hendrik Hirsch advised PINOVA and the co-shareholders on all legal aspects of the transaction. PINOVA has been relying on CMS's expertise for many years. CMS also advised PINOVA on the acquisition of a majority stake in ECOROLL in 2021.

ECOROLL, with its registered office in Celle (Lower Saxony), is a leading provider of purpose-built roller burnishing and deep rolling tools used for finishing metallic surfaces. ECOROLL's solutions are primarily used in the aerospace, mechanical engineering, automotive and medical technology industries and significantly reduce the carbon footprint of machined parts. Since PINOVA's investment in 2021, ECOROLL has been able to further expand its technological leadership and record continuous growth, with sustainability always playing a key role.
