Frankfurt/Main, 05.12.2024 – US-listed Nova Ltd., a provider of dimensional, material and chemical metrology solutions for process control in semiconductor manufacturing, has entered into an agreement to acquire Sentronics Metrology GmbH, a leading manufacturer of metrology tools specifically for the semiconductor industry. The all-cash transaction is worth around USD 60 million. The acquisition is subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2025.
A team headed by lead partner Dr Hendrik Hirsch advised the Sentronics Metrology shareholders on all legal aspects of the transaction.
Sentronics Metrology is a global provider of semi- and fully automated wafer metrology tools for the semiconductor industry, ranging from complete manufacturing processes to advanced packaging.
