CMS Hasche Sigle advises HelveticWind on the acquisition of three wind farms with total output of 48 MW in Brandenburg

Stuttgart – HelveticWind has expanded its activities in Germany by acquiring the Gross Welle, Prötzel and Wulkow wind farms in the Federal State of Brandenburg. HelveticWind is a joint venture of Swiss power companies Energie Wasser Bern, BKW Energie AG, EBL Genossenschaft Elektra Baselland, Zurich-based EKZ Renewables AG and SN Erneuerbare Energien AG.

A team led by lead partner Dr Jochen Lamb advised HelveticWind on all aspects of the transaction. CMS Hasche Sigle previously advised HelveticWind in 2011 on the acquisition of the Lüdersdorf-Parstein wind farm (Brandenburg).

The three wind farms comprise 24 turbines. Collectively, Gross Welle (20 MW), Prötzel (18 MW) and Wulkow (10 MW) can produce some 85 gigawatt hours of electricity.
