Hamburg – Vestas Offshore Germany GmbH signed a contract with PNE Gode Wind II GmbH on 27 February 2011 to supply and construct 84 wind energy plants for the offshore wind farm Gode Wind II. Construction of the plants, each with a capacity of 3 MW, is scheduled for the second half of 2013.
A team from CMS Hasche Sigle led by renewable energy expert Dr Niklas Ganssauge advised Vestas on all aspects of the transaction.
As PNE Wind AG recently announced, it has now fulfilled all four criteria set out in the position paper produced by the German Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) for obtaining unconditional consent for a grid connection. Financing of the project has yet to be confirmed.
