Dusseldorf – Semodia, a tech company from Dresden specialising in modular process automation, has successfully completed its Series A financing round. With Equinor Ventures, the company, which was spun off from the Technical University of Dresden and the Helmut Schmidt University of Hamburg, receives a further investment. Equinor Ventures is the venture capital arm of Equinor that invests in ambitious early-stage and growth companies. In addition to Equinor, other investors were also involved in the round. The parties involved have agreed not to disclose the details of the round.
A CMS team led by lead partner Dr Sebastian Becker and Christopher von Lilien and Dr Nora Zabel provided comprehensive legal advice to Equinor in the course of the financing round. The advice included due diligence and advice on the preparation, negotiation and conclusion of the transaction documentation.
