Charlotte Dobers-Koch specialises in corporate/M&A and corporate compliance, advising both medium-sized and large companies on corporate law as well as on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions/sales of companies. Her practice also focusses on strategic compliance advice, setting up and developing compliance structures, conducting compliance risk analyses, assisting with internal investigations and clarifying compliance violations. Charlotte furthermore advises clients on white-collar crime in proceedings for damages and represents them before investigating authorities and criminal courts.

Charlotte joined CMS in 2015. In 2015/2016, she was part of the team that opened CMS´s new office in Hong Kong. In 2018, she completed a seven-month client secondment. Together with Dr Eckart Gottschalk, she oversees the whistleblowing section in comply., a German magazine for compliance professionals. She has been a counsel since 2021.
