Dr. Christoph Küster

Christoph Küster advises financial investors, large German and international groups as well as medium-sized companies on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including venture capital, private equity and distressed M&A. Christoph’s practice furthermore focusses on corporate restructuring, particularly in connection with IPOs or joint ventures (e.g., through carve-outs, mergers, demergers and reorganisations), and on general corporate law advice for listed companies, including general meetings and compliance with capital markets regulations. His clients are from the financial services, TMC and automotive industry.

Christoph was admitted to the bar in 2013 and joined CMS in July 2022. Prior to that, he worked in each case in Munich for two international law firms, a major German law firm in Munich (M&A/corporate) and in the legal department of a large payment service provider with responsibility for M&A and corporate matters.
