Isabel Schneider advises high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs on domestic and cross-border succession planning and structuring. In the context of inter vivos asset transfers and anticipated succession, she implements tax-optimised gifts and develops solutions for pooling family assets and for the tax-efficient structuring of financial affairs in marriages between entrepreneurs, ensuring that a company's articles of association, the marriage contract and the last will and testament are seamlessly integrated while taking into account interdependencies and synergies under tax law. In particular, she advises on the settlement of cross-border estates, often with ties to the United Kingdom or the United States, including the tax valuation of the estate's assets and the filing of inheritance tax returns. She also advises businesses on compliance matters.

Isabel Schneider joined CMS in 2023.
