Julian Keil’s practice concentrates on white-collar crime, liability and tort law, providing comprehensive compliance advice and conducting internal investigations to resolve compliance violations.

He advises and defends medium-sized and listed companies as well as their executive bodies in white-collar criminal proceedings and administrative fine proceedings, drawing on long-standing practical experience gained from working as a public prosecutor in white-collar criminal cases at the Munich Public Prosecutor's Office I. He supports and advises clients affected by criminal charges as well as victims of criminal offences and also advises in the context of official searches, internal investigations, the preparation of criminal charges and asset recovery.

In the course of his career, Julian Keil has in multiple cases enforced liability and damages claims for companies both in and out of court. He regularly represents his clients in complex court proceedings with high amounts in dispute, both at first and second instance, with a special focus on liability and damages claims arising at the interface of civil and criminal law.

After two years with CMS from 2018 to 2020, Julian became a public prosecutor at the Munich Public Prosecutor's Office I as a public prosecutor before returning to CMS in 2022.
