Piotr Rataj advises clients in fast-moving and legally uncertain areas at the interface of law and information technology. His legal expertise extends primarily to the areas of artificial intelligence (AI), data protection and data security (cybersecurity).
Piotr Rataj joined CMS in 2025. Before practising as a lawyer, he was the founder and director of a medium-sized company, a legal member of staff at the European Court of Justice (ECJ) and a project manager in research projects in the field of network security/data protection.
