Saskia Pitzer advises German and international companies on individual and collective employment law with a focus on HR compliance, in particular compliance with works constitution law. She assists in negotiations with employee representative bodies and their members and represents companies in court and out-of-court proceedings.
In addition, Saskia advises her clients on restructuring, outsourcing, making redundancies and corporate co-determination. Her practice also covers negotiations with works councils, trade unions and other employee representatives on works and transfer agreements, reconciliation of interests and social plans. Saskia is also experienced in drafting employment and service agreements, in adjusting working conditions and in assisting with disputes relating to dismissal and termination negotiations. As a fluent Dutch speaker, Saskia often advises Dutch companies on German employment law.
Saskia joined CMS in 2015 from Aachen Regional Court, where she had been a judge, and has been a partner since 2025.
