Soeren Langner advises his clients on all aspects of labor and employment law, including social security law and special aspects of healthcare law. He has extensive experience in preparing and implementing corporate restructuring projects, transfers of undertakings and staff adjustment measures, including the corresponding negotiations with employee representatives, unions and authorities. Soeren moreover advises on all aspects of co-determination, the deployment of external staff and complex remuneration schemes, including employee benefits and executive compensation. He also is regularly involved in transactions or transformations and in advising international companies on their German market entry.
His clients include German and international manufacturing companies as well as hotels, hospitals, clinics and companies in the healthcare sector. Soeren particularly advises on cooperations and joint ventures, chief physician contracts (Chefarztvertragsrecht) and on all aspects of church labor law. He is further recommended for his expertise in the hotel and aviation sector.
Soeren joined CMS in 2007 and has been a partner since 2015. In our Employment Law Group, he heads the "Hotels & Leisure" and "Healthcare" clusters of excellence and co-heads "Transactional Employment Law and M&A".
