Tobias Bomsdorf advises and represents his clients in civil and commercial law disputes before state courts as well as in arbitration proceedings. His clients include companies in the engineering and plant engineering sector, the automobile sector, suppliers and pharmaceutical companies. He has long standing experience in settling complex disputes in and out of court that are often related to warranty and product liability cases, acting for leading industrial insurance companies, large German and international groups as well as numerous medium-sized companies. Tobias has special expertise in the handling of major industrial losses and serial losses. In this context, he regularly manages interdisciplinary German and pan-European teams. Tobias is often entrusted with cases that generate public interest and could lead to an existential crisis for the companies in question.
Tobias initially joined the CMS Stuttgart office in 2000 and has been head of the Commercial and Dispute Resolution practices in the firm’s Frankfurt office since 2003. He has been a partner since 2007.
