Tobias Bomsdorf is head of the CMS Dispute Resolution practice in Frankfurt. With a focus on commercial litigation and in particular product liability, Tobias has

long-standing experience in the enforcement of and defence against claims and in complex disputes, working for leading industrial insurers, major German and international corporations as well as numerous medium-sized companies. He frequently handles high-profile cases that could lead to an existential crisis for the companies in question.

In addition to handling warranty and product liability cases in the automotive industry, the engineering and plant engineering sector, the pharmaceutical industry (in particular pharmaceutical liability) and the food industry, Tobias also has wide-ranging experience in the implementation of recalls. Furthermore, he advises on multi-party claims (German/international) and has experience with cases involving up to 3,500 B2B claimants across Europe.

Tobias joined CMS in 2000 and has been a partner since 2007.
