CMS advises Finnish process technology house Roxia on a partial acquisition of German Aquachem

27/07/2022

Dusseldorf – The globally operating process technology house Roxia Oy, based in Lappeenranta, Finland, has acquired 50 percent of the shares in the German Aquachem GmbH. Roxia Oy develops technology solutions for the mining, chemical and food industries and is deepening its cooperation with the filtration and separation specialist Aquachem through the partial takeover. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

A multidisciplinary CMS team headed by Dr Dirk Jannot advised Roxia Oy on all legal aspects of the transaction. The CMS team cooperated with Roxia Oy's Finnish legal advisors on the acquisition of Roxia's stake in Aquachem. The scope of the advice included structuring issues as well as drafting and negotiating the transaction documentation. Roxia has also previously relied on the expertise of CMS, including the advice on a recent establishment of a subsidiary in Germany.
