CMS advises industrial holding company Armira on investment in children’s audio systems producer Boxine
Frankfurt a. M./Stuttgart – Munich-based industrial holding company Armira and other investors including the Strüngmann family have taken a stake in Boxine GmbH, a producer and distributor of audio systems for children. The Strüngmann family are the founders of Hexal and acted via their family office, ATHOS Service GmbH.
A CMS team headed by lead partners Dr Hendrik Hirsch and Dr Tobias Schneider advised Armira on all aspects of legal due diligence, the contract negotiations and the negotiations with the W&I insurers.
Based in Düsseldorf, Boxine GmbH is the developer and distributor of the Toniebox, an audio system for children aged between three and ten. Boxine founders Patric Faßbender and Marcus Stahl will remain responsible for business operations as managing partners. Working with Armira, the aim going forward is to drive growth and international expansion.
Armira Beteiligungen GmbH & Co. KG is an entrepreneurial holding company headquartered in Munich that invests in medium-sized businesses in the German-speaking countries and takes a long-term approach. The 11 companies that currently make up the Armira portfolio have more than 8,000 employees and generate sales of around EUR 1.5 billion.
