Stuttgart - Daimler Truck AG (Daimler Truck) will take over the Passau Sperrwies site of Josef Paul GmbH & Co. KG from April 2026. In future, Daimler Truck will offer sales and service for Mercedes-Benz and FUSO trucks at the Passau Sperrwies site. Services will also be provided for Mercedes-Benz buses and Setra buses as well as Mercedes-Benz vans, cars and motorhomes. With the takeover, around 150 employees at the Passau Sperrwies site will move to Daimler Truck through a transfer of business.

A Daimler Truck in-house legal team and a CMS team led by Dr Maximilian Grub provided comprehensive legal advice to Daimler Truck on structuring the transaction, conducting the due diligence and negotiating the acquisition documentation. The parties have not disclosed the value of the transaction. The transaction is subject to various conditions and is expected to close in April 2026.

Daimler Truck AG is one of the world's leading manufacturers of commercial vehicles with a comprehensive portfolio of truck and bus brands. It operates in Europe, North America and Asia and has a global production and distribution network.
