1 min read

On this page

Chapter 8 of our series deals with the topic of interoperability in the Data Act and describes how systems are to be enabled to exchange and use data seamlessly. There is a particular focus on cloud service providers, which will in future have to comply with open EU-wide interoperability standards in order to facilitate the switching and parallel use of different cloud services. Operators of data rooms and smart contracts are also subject to new requirements designed to ensure transparency, security and technical connectivity.
