CMS advises AI service provider Veritone on acquisition of SaaS provider Broadbean
Stuttgart – Veritone, an artificial intelligence company, has acquired Broadbean for $52 million. The acquisition of Broadbean, a software-as-a-service technology that makes talent acquisition and engagement more efficient, will expand Veritone’s AI-powered human resources solutions offerings.
Lead counsel for the transaction was the US law firm Cooley. CMS was brought into the mandate by Cooley and provided legal advice on this transaction relating to Germany, France, Spain and the Netherlands. An international CMS team led by John Hammond and Patrick Lühr provided comprehensive legal advice to Veritone in the course of the transaction, especially on the implementation of this transaction and the due diligence.
