In preparation for the outright ban on leaded petrol from 1 January 2000, the Government has published leaflets entitled “Still Running on Leaded Petrol?”, available from petrol stations, MOT stations, libraries and Citizens Advice Bureau. The leaflets give drivers information about alternatives to leaded petrol and where to go for advice.
