CMS acts for Clyde Blowers Capital in its acquisition of Preformed Windings

CMS in Glasgow has advised Clyde Blowers Capital (CBC), in its acquisition of Sheffield based Preformed Windings Ltd (PFW), a manufacturer of high voltage coils for electric motors and generators from Deritend Industries Limited.

The acquisition of PFW continues CBC’s investment in mission critical engineering companies serving the oil and gas, power and mining sectors.

Corporate partner Graeme Bruce who led on the deal, says: "This is an exciting deal for us and is a further development in CBC’s ambitious plans in this sector which commenced with the acquisition of Parsons Peebles Generation last year.
