Harriet specialises in the drafting and prosecution of technology-based patent applications, particularly computer related inventions (hardware and software). 

Harriet studied Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, specialising in Physics. She then went on to obtain a DPhil from the University of Oxford in computational modelling of seismic waves generated by earthquakes, and carried out postdoctoral research into the use of machine learning algorithms to predict cardiovascular disease.
