Nick is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution team. His practice is all aspects of contentious property and landlord and tenant law (including insolvency, rent review, opposed lease renewals, dilapidations and restrictive covenants) but with a particular emphasis on development work, including devising and running complex vacant possession strategies and advising developer clients on legal site constraints.

Nick's particular speciality is rights of light. He has developed an industry-leading rights of light practice and has devised and implemented the rights of light strategy on a number of high profile developments particularly in the City. Rights of light is arcane, confusing, ancient yet uncertain. Nick's aim is to bring clarity and certainty to clients as to the potential risks and provide them with a route map to deal with that risk and achieve their aims.
