Sonal Jani is a Solicitor and Chartered Trade Mark Attorney in the IP team.

Sonal acts for a variety of national and global key clients operating in sectors including consumer products, fashion, media, finance, insurance, retail and leisure.

Sonal’s work largely focuses on trade mark prosecution, copyright and design. This includes advising clients in relation to a wide variety of trade mark matters from the selection of a new trade mark, through to the filing of trade mark applications and the enforcement of trade mark rights against third parties. 

Sonal advises clients in relation to watch notices, developing and applying filing strategies, and dealing with official objections. Sonal works on contentious matters such as filing and prosecuting oppositions, invalidity and cancellation actions.
