Tom is an Associate in the Construction & Engineering Department specialising in non-contentious matters. Tom provides his clients with proactive, strategic and commercially minded advice in the energy, development, retail and hospitality sectors. Tom’s clients cover the full spectrum of construction professionals including employers, funders, contractors, consultants and sub-contractors.

Tom joined CMS in 2022 having previously worked at Brabners LLP and DWF LLP.

Relevant experience

A local authority regarding the £60m development of new commercial premises.
A specialist renewable energy contractor on the cross jurisdictional construction of a new biomass plant worth in the region of €5m.
A large hospitality client on the implementation of their framework agreements for new and existing developments.
Undertaking due diligence reviews of construction documentation on behalf of institutional lenders.
