1. Is notarisation required and are fees payable? 

Yes – in respect of securities over immovable properties (real estate).


Notarisation Fees:

  1. EUR 20 for transactions having a value from EUR 0.01 to 2,500.
  2. EUR 30 for transactions having a value from EUR 2,501 to 5,000.
  3. EUR 50 for transactions having a value from EUR 5,001 to 20,000.
  4. EUR 80 for transactions having a value from EUR 20,001 to 60,000.
  5. EUR 120 for transactions having a value from EUR 60,001 to 100,000.

For the transactions exceeding the amount of EUR 100,000, the fee will increase by EUR 20 for every EUR 20,000, but it cannot exceed a total fee amount of EUR 1,000.

2. Do the following securities / deeds require to be registered in the Local Property Register and what fees are payable? 

2.1 Pledge over shares

No – but the Pledge agreement requires to be perfected by registration with the Pledge Registry.

2.2 Pledge over bank accounts 

No – but the Pledge agreement requires to be perfected by registration with the Pledge Registry.

2.3 Pledge over movable assets / enterprise 

No – but the Pledge agreement requires to be perfected by registration with the Pledge Registry.

2.4 Security transfer of rights to receivables, movable assets 

No – but the Pledge agreement requires to be perfected by registration with the Pledge Registry.

2.5 Mortgage / land / real estate charge 

Yes:

  1. for loans up to EUR 10,000, the fee amount is EUR 10.
  2. for loans from EUR 10,000 to EUR 30,000, the amount is EUR 20.
  3. for loans from EUR 30,000 to EUR 50,000, the amount is EUR 30.
  4. for loans from EUR 50,000 to EUR 100,000, the amount is EUR 80.
  5. for loans that exceed EUR 100,000, for every additional EUR 100,000 the amount is EUR 30, but the overall amount cannot exceed EUR 400.
