Munich, 17.10.2024 – The Belgian investment company Korys has participated as lead investor in the Series B financing round of the German innovation start-up OroraTech. Korys is the lead investor in the round alongside existing investor Bayern Kapital, with the Wachstumsfonds Bayern 2 of the Free State of Bavaria, and the European Circular Bioeconomy Fund (ECBF).
The German innovation start-up OroraTech focuses on satellite-based thermal sensors. In the future, nanosatellites will measure and record temperatures on the earth's surface from space. The technology will be used to fight forest fires quickly and efficiently.
A CMS team led by Stefan-Ulrich Müller provided comprehensive legal advice to Korys on the financing round.
