We are now at the epicentre of the COVID driven crisis, which is a truly pivotal moment, as all of us have come to recognise. The recent rush of new technology has empowered us to find so many new ways to continue working during the pandemic, which means that we have now seen the start of what we believe will turn out to be a step change in the development of communication and technology, and indeed human interaction, as opposed to the more gradual change that we have been observing over the last twenty years.

It is therefore a good moment for important thinkers and leaders to lay out some of their thoughts and ideas about how we can reimagine the future, a future that truly serves people's needs rather than seeking to define and create and then supply them.

It is an opportunity for this vibrant sector to embrace a strongly inclusive culture and is why CMS is a strong supporter of this publication.
