EC: Summary of comments on the report from the Commission to the European Parliament and the Council on the application of Directive 2005/60/EC on the prevention of the use of the financial system for the purpose of money laundering and terrorist financing

The EC has published a feedback statement with regard to the above-mentioned report. Broad support was expressed for the proposed alignment to the revised FATF standards and for greater clarification of certain issues, in particular in the area of data protection and cross-border situations.
