Text of Rachel Reeves’ Mansion House speech of 14 November 2024 follows. In addition to the already announced pension reforms, Rachel Reeves made a number of other announcements. These include: a new Digital Gilt Instrument using DLT; plans relating to MiFIR and to PISCES, a new National Payments Vision; a consultation on captive insurance; new PRA/FCA remit letters and a new agreement between FCA and FOS. FCA has published a response to the speech, which includes updates on specific issues raised in the speech.
