CMS has advised funds managed by private equity firm Capreon on the sale of Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) to the municipality of Eindhoven. BIC, located near Eindhoven Airport, is a major hotspot for the Dutch high-tech industry. The campus houses educational institutions and dozens of innovative manufacturing companies who collaborate closely together. It provides employment to about 2,000 employees and 500 students. By acquiring BIC, the municipality of Eindhoven intends to strengthen the region's position as a world leader in innovation, technology and high-tech manufacturing.
