Juan José Hopkins is a partner in the Corporate M&A and TMC practice. He is an expert in financial transactions, M&A, Venture Capital and Fintech. He has extensive experience advising companies and financial institutions on all types of corporate and project transactions, including advising startups on their seed funding and digital business needs.
He has also advised several Fintechs on their entry into the country and on their banking and stock market regulatory needs.
His previous experience as a founding partner of Sumara Hub Legal stands out, as well as having been in charge of the legal area of the most important trust company in Peru.
He holds a Master's Degree in Finance and Corporate Law from ESAN University, where he currently teaches graduate and executive programmes and courses. He is a regular speaker at business and academic events on financial technology topics, and author of articles on trends and new legislation in the Fintech industry.
