It was published on December 30th, 2025, the Ministerial Order no. 480-A/2025/1, that updates the amount of the Social Support Index (IAS) for the year 2026.
The amount, which is currently EUR 522,50 (five hundred twenty-two euros and fifty cents), will, with effects from January 1st, 2026, be of EUR 537,13 (five hundred thirty-seven euros and thirteen cents) which corresponds to an increase of 2.8%.
This increase will be reflected, namely, in the payment of social benefits such as unemployment allowance, as well as in the calculation of monthly contributions of non-remunerated and non-exempt statutory bodies, or of domestic service under the conventional regime, among other situations.
