CMS Portugal has two new Counsels: Catarina Gil Jorge and Mafalda Alves da Silva, both lawyers in the Labour Law & Pension Funds practice area.

Catarina Gil Jorge and Mafalda Alves da Silva provide legal counsel to national and international companies, with many years of experience in the banking, aviation, and industrial sectors, as well as in the pharmaceutical, financial, commercial, retail, and services sectors, respectively. Catarina Gil Jorge has extensive experience in negotiating collective bargaining agreements and is part of the team dedicated to gender equality, diversity, inclusion, and pay transparency. Mafalda Alves da Silva is responsible for overseeing workforce restructuring processes, with extensive experience in negotiation processes, mass layoffs, and job eliminations, as well as advising senior management on the termination of employment contracts.
