CMS advises on the sale of Quinta da Comporta
CMS Portugal advised the owners on the sale of the Quinta da Comporta hotel to Experimental Group, a French hotel group that owns boutique hotels, bars and restaurants in Paris, London, Venice, Ibiza, Menorca, Biarritz, Verbier and the Cotswolds (in the United Kingdom).
The multidisciplinary team at CMS Portugal that advised on the sale was led by partners João Caldeira (Corporate M&A) and Patrick Dewerbe (Tax Law) and also included senior associate André Guimarães (Corporate M&A), associates Francisca Pereira da Cruz (Corporate M&A) and Rita Guerra Alves (Corporate M&A), and associate Carlos Henriques Saraiva (Real Estate).
Opened in May 2019, Quinta da Comporta has become one of the most iconic hotels in the region, offering 61 luxury rooms.
